TCA Names 2010 Achievement Awards

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) - a non-profit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of site-cast Tilt-Up as the preferred construction method - has announced the recipients of five professional achievement awards presented at TCA's annual meeting held on Thursday, Feb. 4 in conjunction with the World of Concrete.

The award recipients for 2010, selected by the Association's Board of Directors after nomination by the general membership and recommendation by the TCA's Awards Committee, are:

  • Bob Foley, President of The Foley Group for the Peter Courtois Memorial Award
  • Textured Coatings of America for the Robert Aiken Innovation Award
  • Steve Miers of Tilt-Up, Inc. for the Murray Parker Memorial Award
  • James M. Williams/AE URBIA for the Irving Gill Distinguished Architect Award
  • Johnson Structural Group for the David L. Kelly Engineering Award
